Verisimilar Vignettes

Does life imitate art? Or does art imitate life? And what happens when it’s recorded on web-cams?

Friend or Phobia presents: “Verisimilar Vignettes”; a series of silly compelling little vignettes that capture the quirks, foibles and unexpected truths of our endearing fictional characters.

Like Ellen. She plans to quietly ignore her fortieth birthday. But her best friend refuses to watch Ellen bury herself in routine. She begs and bullies Ellen to step out of her safety zone and ask out the younger new guy at the office. Horrified by how many ways that could go wrong, Ellen declines. But her friend keeps needling her, until Ellen agrees to not only ask Peter out, but to do it in front of her friend via a web-cam without anyone finding out… Look for ELLEN ON THE PROWL this summer!

Also coming this summer is THE CURIOUS OBSERVER. Someone watches Dave at home. He feels it. Every time he does something ridiculous, he senses the laughter. But Dave lives alone. Sort of. He is the only human in the apartment. But he has a silent roommate. His computer. And it’s curious about Dave.
